4 Ways To Remove Stains Out of Your Linen Clothes

Linen is my favourite fabric to wear during the summer – but the more linen clothes I have, the more I have to deal with removing stains from them.

Thankfully, there are four different effective ways for stain removal that I use and I will tell you all about them today!

When you spill something on your linen clothes, it’s important not to panic and immediately get started with the cleaning process. The longer you wait, the harder the process will become.

4 Ways To Remove Stains Out of Your Linen Clothes

Corn starch or baking soda

My favourite way to remove stains is by sprinkling the affected area with either baking soda or corn starch. These powders are great in absorbing liquids and work very well. On top of that, they are cheap and everyone has them at home.

Wait for at least 15 minutes before you remove the powder and wash the clothing item in cold water.

White Vinegar

Another favourite natural ingredient that I use for cleaning is white vinegar – and it happens to be something that can remove stains from linen which is great. Soak a cloth in vinegar then gently dab the affected area for a while. Next, rinse and wash with cold water. Repeat these steps as many times as necessary until you are happy with the results.

Hydrogen peroxide

Do you have hydrogen peroxide at home? Then use it to remove stains from linen clothes. Spray the hydrogen peroxide on the stained area and let it sit for 30 minutes before washing the clothing item as usual.

Oxygen Bleach

If the linen clothing item is light then you can also use oxygen bleach. Soak the stained area in the liquid then wash as usual.
